MEDIUM WAVE LITZ WIRE MYSTERY COIL 250µH.
I wound this coil using best American (Kerrigan -Lewis) litz wire 100/45 type.
This coil has a higher Q (magnification factor) than magnet wire coils and will
make a more sensitive and selective radio. Litz wire was the most favored by
the vintage crystal radio builders of the 1920's and is still the best.
Today you cannot get a more authentic looking coils than this particular type.

LITZ WIRE LONG WAVE COIL 2000µH
This Mystery type coil is 7 inches long and 3 inches diameter fitted with
solid brass binding posts. There is a very tight close wound coupling coil section
terninated at two solder tags on end of coil.
I wound this on my Avo Douglas hand operated coil winding machine which
produces a very precise and even winding.
